New Mandate Letters from Public Safety

The heads of all four Canadian public safety agencies got new directives from the Minister of Public Safety on Friday 27 May 2022. The following are the complete letters from Minister Marco Mendicino, specifying goals and benchmarks for each of the agencies. I have highlighted key sections that you should be aware of.

Weeding out systemic racism and misogyny in all four agencies, including building cultures of respect and inclusion, is a common thread weaving through the mandates of all four agencies.
